A little bit about Judy

Judy Walter grew up in the United States of America. In the late 1980s, she came to Bangladesh and worked as a nurse for 7 years in the Thanarbaid Health Care Centre. She lived in a simple mud hut with a grass roof located just off the clinic grounds. This same hut is the one in which Dr. Baker now lives. Judy is a wonderful woman and dedicated herself to working with the people while she was at Thanarbaid. The work at Thanarbaid so inspired her that she wrote a book about it and illustrated it with photos. It is entitled Thanarabid Health Care Centre 1992, 1993, 1994. Currently she works and lives in the Chicago area of Illinois, USA.
